One Trappist monastery that has truly stood the test of time is Orval. Established in 1070, this unique monastery brews one beer, and does it to perfection. To celebrate the glory that is Orval, one day a year Merchant du Vin (importers of Orval Trappist Ale) contributes 50 cents for every bottle sold to charity. This year #OrvalDay is on March 25th with all proceeds being donated to the National Forest Foundation.
