VIDEO QUICKIE WITH BRASSERIE CANTILLON: BRUOCSELLA 1900 GRAND CRU

The Cantillon Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru is one of only two straight Lambics available commercially outside of the specialty cafés in Brussels and the Senne Valley.

The first documented brewing of this beer was in 1983. Generally, the Lambic is aged for three years in oak barrels before bottling. The beer is uncarbonated and has attributes similar to European still ciders.

Having the chance to try the Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru was an extraordinary delight! This beer is remarkable for its intricate aromas and flavors, while still maintaining a light and refreshing body.

I was genuinely amazed how much I enjoyed a beer without carbonation. Lambics are among the select few styles that can successfully achieve this. Just like all Brasserie Cantillon Lambics, I highly recommend this one-of-a-kind beer.

Santé!
